TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • OWN RISK: We will take every care and consideration with your pet which is accepted solely at owners risk. You are welcome to bring your pets own bedding and toys should you wish to give them a sense of home. All dogs must be fitted with a securely fastened collar and identification tag. Petties Paws Kennels cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to property, possessions or vehicles howsoever caused whilst on the premises.

  • VACCINATIONS: All dogs must be vaccinated against Parvovirus, Distemper and the Leptospiral diseases. Protection against Kennel cough is also required. All cats must be vaccinated against Cat flu, Feline Enteritis and Feline Leukaemia.

  • The manufacturers lead time for initiation or renewal of vaccinations must be observed- please contact your vet for further details

  • MICROCHIPS: All dogs and cats must be microchipped and documents supporting this provided. If no documents can be produced you give us permission to scan the animal to collect the microchip details prior to boarding. As of 10th June 2024 it will be a legal requirement for cats .

  • HEALTH: Owners warrant that any animal admitted for boarding is fit, sound and healthy / or that the kennels have been advised of any existing conditions. Owners undertake to declare any history of veterinary problems that could reoccur whilst boarding and draw attention to any traits or vices that their animal has. Owners authorise veterinary treatment to be given should it be deemed necessary during the period of boarding. Owners will be required to settle any vet bills that may arise should your animal need treatment due to accident or illness whilst boarding at the facilities.

    We reserve the right to refuse admittance into the kennels and cattery any animal we deem unfit for boarding, this can include , but is not limited to, obvious Illness ( whereby a veterinarian has not been informed), age related infirmity and frailty ( the animal must be able to stand with minimal assistance ) and obvious signs of aggression.

    Where boarding is refused due to the animal not being deemed fit for boarding by kennel staff the fees for the booked stay will need to be paid in full.

  • MEDICAL ADMINISTRATION: If medication is required to be administered, this will be undertaken provided the animal will accept the medication without resistance and the medication can be given by a person who does not hold veterinary qualifications.

  • OPENING HOURS: Monday to Friday 7.30am- 10 am and 4pm -6pm. Saturday and Sunday 8am-10am ONLY. All animals must be dropped off and collected within opening hours unless prior arrangement is made with the proprietors. Charges are per day. The day of departure will be charged in full unless the animal is collected before 10am on that day. Should you be unable to collect your animal in person, your representative must bring proof of identity, state the password agreed upon admission and be in a position to make full payment, if appropriate before the animal is handed over. If this is the case please notify us in advance.

  • There will be a £25 charge for anyone dropping off or collecting their animal outside of our opening hours without prior agreement.

  • CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be advised a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the date of arrival. Cancellations after this date will incur a charge of 50% of the proposed stay. For Cancellations within 48 hours of the date of arrival and in the event of a no show the full amount will be invoiced. Refunds cannot be given for early collection before the date stated on the booking form.

  • PAYMENT : Payment can be made by debit or credit card or cash. Payments by bank transfer are accepted. Petties Paws reserve the right to request a non-refundable deposit and all prices are subject to change. Payment must be made prior to the handback of any animal. We reserve the right to hold the pet until full payment is received. Any extra days incurred will be chargeable at the normal rate.

  • DISPOSAL: Owners authorise the rehoming/ sale /disposal of their pet in the best way possible should they fail to collect their animal within fourteen days of the end of the booked boarding period and should they fail to make contact with Petties paws to provide an explanation. Every effort will be made to come to a reasonable arrangement prior to taking this action as a last resort.

  • SOCIAL MEDIA: Photographs and videos of your pet may be uploaded to Petties Paws social media accounts ONLY if prior permission is given by the owner and signed on the boarding agreement. Neither animals nor owners names will be published.
